MOVING
WITHOUT
LIMITS.

These conditions set out the terms of the contract between the Removal and/or Storage Contractor (“the Contractor”) and you (“the Customer”).

1. Interpretation

1.1 Any reference in these conditions to “we” or “us” is a reference to the Contractor. Any reference in these conditions to “you” is a reference to the Customer. Any reference to “Insurance Option” is to the Insurance Option set out in Clause 9A. “Goods” means the goods being removed and/or stored.

2. Quotations

2.1 Quotations include value-added tax but do not include any other customs duties levies or fees payable to the government or other statutory bodies. All such duties or payments (if any) will be payable by you in addition to the quoted price.

2.2 Although we quote a fixed price, we reserve the right to amend it or make additional charges if: the work is not completed within three months, currency fluctuations occur, delivery is above the first upper floor, or access is inadequate.

3. Work excluded from our quotations

Unless previously agreed in writing we will not: Dismantle or assemble customized or Italian unit furniture (flat-pack), disconnect appliances (washing machines/cookers), or remove floor coverings.

Note: Regular household furniture like IKEA and Furniture Village items are included in our standard dismantle/assemble services.

4. Excluded Property

The following items are specifically excluded and will not be removed or insured: Jewellery, watches, money, dangerous items, animals, refrigerated food, and owner-packed property unless signs of external damage exist.

5. Customer's Responsibility

5.1 Declare to us the proper value of the Goods. For values over £25,000, we require a signed valued inventory prior to commencement. Claims over £500 will not be paid without this documentation.

7. Postponements/Cancellations

7.1 Charges apply based on notice: 1-2 days (50% deposit forfeited), Less than 24 hours (100% deposit forfeited).

8. Payment of Removal Charges

Deposit must be cleared in advance. Interest at 19.48% per month is charged on overdue accounts. Failure to comply voids insurance coverage.

9. Our Liability for Loss or Damage

9.1 Maximum £50 per item if you choose not to claim through insurance. 9.2.1 Excess fees: £350 for Goods in Transit, £500 for Public Liability claims.

12. Time Limits for Claims

Claims must be notified in writing WITHIN 24 HOURS of delivery. This is a strict insurer requirement.

18. Jurisdiction

This contract is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
